| Who can become an OAC Member
Individuals currently engaged in the international marketing or sales of North American made automotive and heavy-duty products may become domestic members of the Overseas Automotive Council. They may be employees of a North American manufacturer, or employees of an export management company authorized by a North American manufacturer to market or sell products internationally. They may work as employees of a bank involved in financing international sales and/or overseas collections, an international freight forwarder, a transportation company moving products from North America to international markets, a publisher of international trade publications, or a trade association.
International members of the Overseas Automotive Council are individuals who are living overseas and directly, or indirectly, engaged in the international sales, marketing, distribution, or transport of automotive products manufactured in North America. This membership category includes individuals who are employees North American firms, their affiliates, or subsidiaries.
