Overseas Automotive Council and it's Services
 
OAC members receive the monthly Global Report electronic newsletter. This report provides vital facts and information about industry plans, expansion, changes in government policy, new regulatory issues and helpful business services. Members also receive electronically the monthly newsletter Personnel Insight, listing positions and professionals available in the automotive industry; Washington Insider, newsletter which covers federal activities, including legislation being considered in the House and Senate and the operations of federal agencies, such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Customs .
 
The annual OAC Membership website membership directory is the online phone book to the global aftermarket. In addition to members’ listings, a cross-reference product guide makes this an invaluable business asset. Other OAC communication vehicles include the biennially published International Buyer’s Guide.
 
OAC members can attend any or all of the Council’s annual meetings to meet other members and hear presentations about current market subjects. OAC’s annual presentation, International Markets Briefing, offers attendees at Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in Las Vegas, Nevada., automotive market intelligence on a dozen or more international markets directly from members in the country. OAC members are informed about industry shows endorsed by the Council, such as Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week, PAACE Automechanika Mexico (Mexico City), Automechanika (Germany), EquipAuto (France), Expo Partes (Columbia), Expo Canidra (Venezuela) and many more. OAC members qualify for special, reduced rates for space at shows co-sponsored by OAC. OAC members are represented, even when they can’t be present, at trade shows by the OAC staff whose mission at these events is to inform the industry about the organization’s advantages and the benefits of doing business with OAC members.
 
 
OAC Trade Policy Committee
 
The OAC Trade Policy Committee was established to work jointly with MEMA's Washington, D.C. office and Government affairs Committee regarding international trade issues that effect the U.S. manufacuters and exporters as well as international importer regarding issues that effect companies in U.S. and or foreign trade issues.
